The Trailblazer

Brian Hughes

Born in a small town in Southeastern Oklahoma, I don’t recall a moment in my childhood that didn’t involve  dreams. I began writing songs around 6 years old as an escape from a simple life. There was always a fire burning bright from the depths of me. Thus my journey started inward.

In the spring of 2012, I left Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to Nashville to start a life as a Songwriter.

For a Country-Folk Songwriter who wrote songs about Mountains, Streams, Canoes and Mustangs, it was a far cry to what was coming out of Country Music then.

With years of my profession as a Country-Folk Artist, there was still something missing, my fire was fueled as if steel was being thrown in, my flame began to just flicker and the steel weighed heavy on me.

In the summer of 2015, I moved to Northwestern Montana. Americana at its core, a small pocket of a vast wilderness, it was like a new spawned childhood. A land of wild wonder with Glacier Peaks, Fly Fishing, Hiking, Grizzly Bears, Mountain Lions, Elk, Moose, Wolves and Bald Eagles, to name a few.

It was a phenomenon unlike anything I had ever seen. I felt the connection to all of my senses, a deep connection to my Creator and to an uprooted belief that this is where I belonged.

I had been to Wine Country in Northern California many, many times but it was the people of Sonoma County, California that introduced me to a love that quickly became known as desire.

Sonoma County, on the banks of the Russian River Valley... Pinot Noir.

They were just like me, Dreamers. Not bound for material fame nor fortune but for the glory of hospitality. The betterment of mankind, wine-kind. The more I got to know the great people of Sonoma County the more my passion and dreams grew. I set course, to create some of THE BEST wines that the senses would sure indulge in.

Now that you are a part of your own journey, SALUTE.

One glass at a time, you will have the best of me.

About The Artist

Nathan Price

I first met Nathan in 2011, when i did my first record, “Cavanal” A friend told me that Nathan was the best drummer around, then I QUICKLY realized that he was the drummer for the massive band BRONCHO.

Nathan and I instantly became friends and would gig quite a lot together. I started becoming aware of Nathan showing up to gigs covered in paint. I always thought he was such a cool, hip guy, it must have been a trend that he was setting. Not at all! Nathan is one of my favorite artists on the planet. He is what I am, we are dreamers. with Nathan’s detail to the natural world. whether it is an animal or a person, He keeps the portrayer’s dignity in every brush stroke. When I was dreaming up these wine labels, there was no one else in question for the art work. Nathan is at the essence of what a great friend is, a great artist and a person that helps up dig, just a little deeper in ourselves to help our own light shine.
